It's that time of the week again!  No, not laundry day, it's time for a new episode of the Deep Six Podcast with Steven Spevak, and Matt Barnes!

This week the nerds start off the show discussing the recent rumblings that Hollywood hot shot, Bradley Cooper, could possibly be taking on the role of Vince McMahon in the upcoming biopic, "Pandemonium."  Not only that, but the guys discuss some fantasy castings for other roles that might possibly be in the upcoming release from WWE Studios.

Following that, we react to the news that ReedPOP will be launching a brand new pop culture convention in Philadelphia next year dubbed, "Keystone Comic Con!"  Yes, the company that puts together cons such as C2E2, Emerald City Comic Con, and NYCC, will be bringing a major scaled comic con to Philadelphia in September 2018!

On top of all that, the boys ramble on about a few things to come out of NYCC this weekend.  Like Robert Kirkman's upcoming comic, "Oblivion Song," that has Philadelphia ties,  the first trailer for Marvel's "Runaways" on Hulu, and more!

Steven and Matt are back with episode 40 of every nerds favorite, the Deep Six Podcast!

Starting off this week's show, the guys ramble on about the news that Michelle Williams has been cast to star opposite of Tom Hardy in the upcoming "Venom" film from Sony Pictures.  

After that, Steven gets excited over some new images from Marvel and Hulu's upcoming, "Runaways," while Matt already expects this show to be a dud...

Then the boys discuss the recent news that DC will be starting a standalone studio to release their one off films, such as the upcoming, "Joker."  

Lastly, Steven attempts to review the brand new, Marvel Legacy #1 from Marvel comics, and fails horribly...

Deep Six Podcast 039: Punisher Trailer / Sabrina the Teenage Witch / Rumored ‘Gambit’ Plot Details / WWE Network Survey

After taking a week off to due to hurricane Irma, your favorite nerd duo of Steven Spevak and Matt Barnes are back with a fresh new episode of the Deep Six Podcast!

This week the guys start off with discussing the first full trailer for Marvel and Netflix's next original series, "Punisher!"  From getting a first look at some of the characters in the series, to speculating on where the story might go, we talk about it all!  We also try to figure out when the show could be premiering as Marvel and Netflix have yet to reveal a release date.

Following that, we get into the news that the CW is working on developing a new series based around "The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina the Teenage Witch."  Yes, it has been reported that "Riverdale" executive producers Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schecter are working on bringing the Greendale resident back to the small screen after their success of bringing new life to Archie and his friends.

On top of that, we also have our first idea of what we could see from Channing Tatum's upcoming film featuring Marvel's "Ragin' Cajun," Gambit!  A recent report has revealed a rumored plot for the film, and we give our thoughts on all of it.  Spoiler alert, we really aren't that impressed with what we read...

Finally, we get to some wrestling news as WWE has sent out a survey to WWE Network subscribers about potential programming for a premium version of the service.  From in ring specials, to scripted dramas and comedies, some of the things on this survey might shock you.

Deep Six Podcast 038: Hawk & Dove / Colin Trevorrow Leaving Star Wars / Drew Goddard on X-Force / Mae Young Classic

"Stand back, there's a hurricane comin' through!"  Yes ladies and gentlemen, despite hurricane Irma's attempts at keeping you from your weekly dose of nerdy goodness, the Deep Six Podcast is here with episode 38!

This week we start off with some "Titans" casting news!  Yes, Alan Ritchson, who previously appeared on the CW’s Smallville as Aquaman, has been cast alongside Friday Night Lights alum Minka Kelly, to play the characters of Hawk and Dove respectively.

After that we discuss the recent departure of Colin Trevorrow as the director for 2019's, "Star Wars: Episode IX," From Disney and Lucasfilm.  The break is described as mutual, but could it be a little more complex than that?  This is now fourth time a director has been replaced on a Star Wars project.

Keeping with directorial news, Matt and Steven then discuss Fox's decision to bring on Drew Goddard to write and direct "X-Force!"  While there isn't much to be said about this, the guys speculate on who they'd want to see on this team, and more.

Transitioning into the wrestling portion of the episode, we get into the final roster reveal of WWE 2K18!  With the addition of 47 new superstars to the game, this weeks reveal sees names such as "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Kassius Ohno, Billie Kay, Peyton Royce, and others!

Finally, we break down the final four episodes of the WWE's "Mae Young Classic!"  These four episodes spanned the second round, as well as the quarter and semi finals!
